AFP live from the Cannes Film Festival on May 27
From the 65th Cannes Film Festival, AFP will broadcast on Sunday a live video just after the names of the prize-winners have been announced.
As the winners cross a suspended gangway above the Croisette sea-side boulevard, we shall get their first reactions and discuss the films that were entered into the 2012 competition. Videos will be available on YouTube and Dailymotion and can also be found on the afp.com website under the heading "World News".
"This live video once again allows AFP to show off its technical know-how and the ability of its journalists, and will show-case our determination to develop ever-richer cutting-edge videos designed for all of our customers, whatever their line of business," said AFP Chairman and Chief Executive Emmanuel Hoog.
A Live Report the same evening will be released in English, French and Spanish on the websites of clients subscribing to the Online News. This multimedia product will integrate text, pictures, and links to the AFP live video feed.
