Papal election live on AFPTV
AFP video crews will provide live, uninterrupted coverage of reactions in Rome every time black smoke emerges from the Sistine Chapel and as soon as the first puff of white smoke signals the election of the new Pope. The Agency has also deployed a technical crew, as well as dedicated camera and satellite transmission equipment to service television networks with video transmission (playout) and live coverage for their reporters (live stand-up).
Live coverage was also provided of Benedict XVI's departure from office on February 28th.
AFP offered live video broadcasts for the first time last year. 2013 will be a year of worldwide growth for this HD product.
