AFP Digital Courses selected as Finalist for the 4th Annual Anthem Awards

AFP Digital Courses has been named a finalist in the ‘Product, Innovation or Service’ category in Education, Art & Culture at the 4th Annual Anthem Awards.

Selected from among 2,300 projects across 34 countries, this recognition highlights the platform’s positive social impact through its innovative training in digital investigation techniques.

Launched in 2022, AFP Digital Courses provide journalists and journalism students with essential skills for investigating and working more efficiently and safely online, in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. The programme includes topics such as combating election disinformation, effectively using social media, and geolocation.

The project is competing for Gold, Silver, or Bronze Anthem Awards, as judged by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. It is also in the running for the Anthem Community Voice Award, which is decided by public voting.

Supporters can cast their vote on the Award’s website until Thursday, October 31.

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024 and celebrated online in the Winners Gallery.
