'Your Planet' Podcast, Episode 3: 'Carbon capture, is it really the miracle solution?'
Welcome back to Your Planet, a podcast series brought to you in association with The Conversation that delves into potential solutions for addressing climate change and the ecological crisis.
This week, we dive into the topic of carbon capture and storage (CCS), a key focus at the UN COP28 climate talks.
While some oil producers advocate for CCS as a solution, climate experts caution that it may not be sufficient to combat global warming. Currently, with limited investment and few operational projects worldwide, CCS is far from reaching the scale needed to make a significant impact on global emissions.
