AFP committed to combat disinformation in Budapest
As part of the Hungarian project against disinformation, Lakmusz-HDMO, AFP will participate in an awareness week at the French Institute in Budapest from April 15th to 19th.
Jastinder Khera, editor at the AFP Fact Check Europe team, will be one of the speakers at the round table discussion on 'Disinformation and Democracy in the Digital Age' (Désinformation et démocratie à l’ère numérique) on April 17th at 6pm.
Other AFP journalists will also be in Budapest to conduct a media literacy workshop for schoolchildren, as well as a fact-checking training for journalists and journalism students, as part of the EU-funded Lakmusz-HDMO project.
