AFP confirms attendance at Web Summit Rio

For the second year in a row, AFP will be back at the biggest innovation event in Latin America. 

 

The Web Summit Rio, taking place from April 15th to 18th, will bring together key figures in the technology and innovation sectors, alongside industry executives. The event will host discussions on topics ranging from the influence of artificial intelligence on finance and creativity to breakthroughs in design and emerging initiatives within the renewable energies sector.  

Direct from the Fourth Estate, a stage entirely dedicated to the future of Journalism, AFP's director for Latin America, Maria Lorente, and editor-in-chief for the region, Laura Bonilla, will take part as speakers alongside key players in the communications industry. 

Participation in the event reinforces AFP's role in covering topics that directly impact society. Global leader in digital verification, AFP is present in 150 countries, and has a network of more than 1,700 journalists.
